Chapter 1

Present Generations

In the past the various GILLAM families have been quite large, so you would expect a great many cousins to exist today.  The contributors to this GILLAM Family Booklet descend from just two brothers of a family of nine sons and daughters, eight of whom saw the dawn of the 20th century.

My (maternal) grandmother Kathleen Ada GILLAM was the daughter of William and Sarah GILLAM.  Her descendants are shown in tree form in Figure 12.

William's brother George Frederick GILLAM and some of his many descendants are shown in tree form in Figure 13.
