E-mail from Sandra Meacock to Keith Taylor 02-Jan-2009

Hello Keith
I have been in contact with you before, sometime ago now, via GR
my husband is a descendant of Thomas Meacock and Matilda Sims.
I have found some info about one of yours, a James William Meacock
b 1874 you have him on your site as dead 1891. He in fact married
an Ellen Susan Howard in Newmarket in 1904 where he was a
groom in racing stables and they had a son in 1906 James Francis
Meacock. Last year I sent for a birth cert for James Francis because
I thought he may have been an illegitimate child of Douglas Meacock
my husband's grandfather, but he was not and I filed the cert away
with all the other Meacock info. Having nothing to do over the
holidays came across it again and decided to research it through,
found out his father was James Meacock mother Francis Golden Phillips
and his Grandfather was Joseph Meacock 1809 am enclosing the birth
cert you may as well have a copy. I have sent a copy off to Eric
Meacock in Aussie who just lately I seem to be in daily contact with.
Best wishes Sandra.
